A Drink for Anyone

Just because these aren't labeled boozy doesn't mean it's not there. These are cocktails that are for sure to please most anyone. With fresh flavors and not-to-sweet. These are refreshing.

Classics meet Contemporary

BLUEBERRY BASIL MARGARITA

Tequila, Orange Liqueur, lime, blueberry basil syrup

2 oz Blanco Tequila

3/4 oz Cointreau

1 oz lime juice

1/2 oz blueberry basil syrup

4 blueberries

6 basil leaves

Place all ingredients in a shaker and muddle gently. Add ice and shake! Double strain into the glass that is filled with ice cubes. Salt rim if desired. Then drop some blueberreis in and garnish with a basil bush. 

How to make the syrup:

2 cups house sugar

2 cups water

2 cups blueberries

10-15 basil leaves

Simmer all ingredients and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then cover and let simmer for an additonal four minutes. Then transfer to a blender and blend until smooth. Refigerate overnight. Strain into a storage container and you're good to go!

KINGS LANDING

Pear infused Scotch, Applejack Brandy, lemon, bitters

1 dash Peychaud's Aromatic bitters

1 1/2 oz Pear infused Famous Grouse Scotch

1/2 oz Laird's Applejack Brandy

3/4 oz lemon juice

1/4 oz orgeat

1/4 oz Acacia honey syrup

1/4 oz cinnamon syrup

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Double strain into a coupe and garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel.

Infusing the Scotch:

In a quart mason jar add 2 Bartlett Pears cut, 1/2 a Fuiji Apple cut, one cinnamon stick. Fill jar with Famous Grouse Scotch and seal shut. Stir daily for one week. Then strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve into new jar. Boom!

THE SALT LAKE CITY COSMO

London Gin, Peach liqueur, L'Autentico, Splash Mixers, bitters

1 dash Fee Brothers West Indian Orange bitters

1 dash Regans Orange Bitters No. 6

1 dash Angostura bitters

1 1/2 oz Beefeater Gin

1/2 oz Pêche de Vigne Liqueur

1/2 oz Galliano L'Autentico 

1 oz Splash Mixers Cosmopolitan

Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Double strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass. 

Garnish with a lemon twist.

EARTH DAY GINGER BOURBON SMASH

Bourbon, lime, ginger, honey, bitters & berries

2 oz High West American Prarie Bourbon

1 oz lime juice

1/4 oz ginger syrup

1/4 oz honey syrup

1 dash Angostura bitters

6 blackberries or 2 strawberries

Muddle 3 blackberries or 1 strawberry in the bottom of a highball glass. Then fill with crushed ice.

In a shaker, combine bourbon, lime juice, and ginger syrup. Add a small handful of crushed ice to the shaker and short shake until the ice has melted. Pour into the glass. 

In the empty shaker muddle remaining fruit and the honey syrup. Then pour over the top of the cocktail. Garnish with the same fruit and serve with a straw.
